The Story

After more than 20 years, working as part of a multi championship-winning Formula 1 team, I learned to obsess over perfection, because it isn’t optional - it’s mandatory. Away from the track, I developed the same obsession in a new area - The search for the perfect T-shirt.

I've tried countless brands, paid for “premium” options, including overpriced designer examples, but nothing truly delivered. Fit, fabric, durability, something was always missing. Unable to accept compromise, in 2018 I decided to create my own.

Fast forward to 2024 & years of searching, sampling, and testing, Finley Original was created. Every garment is produced in Portugal by the benchmark factories in garment materials & production, designed to fit better, cut better & pre-washed to maintain their shape, essentials should be worn for years, not weeks or months.

This is only the beginning though, Finley Original isn’t about one person’s idea of perfection, it’s about building essentials together. Future colours, limited editions and continuous improvements will be shaped by customer feedback. 

My goal is simple. To create better-made essentials that keep improving, one small batch at a time.

Just like Formula 1 - The pursuit of perfection doesn't end.
